Apple Settles $250 Million Siri AI Lawsuit — Here’s How to File a Claim
US buyers of eligible iPhones can claim an estimated $25 per device—potentially up to $95—from Apple’s $250 million Siri settlement. Purchases must fall between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025; claims close December 21, 2026.
Apple is paying $250 million to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the company failed to deliver promised AI upgrades to Siri, and eligible iPhone owners in the US can now submit a claim for a payout.
To qualify, you must have purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model in the US between June 10th, 2024, and March 29th, 2025. Claims can be filed on the settlement’s website, with a deadline of December 21st, 2026.
Eligible claimants can receive an estimated $25 per qualifying device. However, the settlement’s website notes that amount could rise to $95 depending on the total number of claims filed. To complete a claim, you’ll need to provide your name, contact information, and the serial number of your eligible iPhone.
The lawsuit centered on allegations that Apple did not deliver the AI-upgraded version of Siri it had promoted to consumers who purchased those devices. The settlement was first reported by MacRumors.
For iPhone owners who bought one of the covered models during the specified window, the December 2026 deadline gives several months to gather device information and submit a claim through the settlement site.
