Bluesky Expands Attie AI Tool to Let Users Build and Share Games and Apps

Bluesky’s Attie now builds shareable social apps—including games, polls, and dashboards—as standalone websites, expanding beyond its earlier custom-feed focus. CEO Toni Schneider called it “social vibe coding” at TechCrunch Disrupt.

Bluesky has expanded its Attie AI tool to allow users to create small social apps — including games, polls, and dashboards — and share them with others as standalone websites.

Attie originally launched earlier in 2026 as a way for users to build custom feeds using AI. The expanded functionality, announced in October 2026, significantly broadens what the tool can produce and share across the platform.

Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider described the tool’s new direction at TechCrunch Disrupt, telling attendees to think of Attie as “social vibe coding or vibe coding for your community.”

The update means Bluesky users can now go beyond feed curation to build lightweight interactive experiences and distribute them directly as their own web pages, this could lower the barrier for non-developers to create and share functional apps within a social context.
