Corridor Raises $25M Seed Round to Offer AI-Powered Health Benefits Brokerage to Small Businesses
Corridor’s AI agents handle tasks such as verifying in-network doctors, scheduling care, and relaying insurance details while human advisors support customers. Led by Bain Capital Ventures, its $25 million seed round also drew BoxGroup and executives from OpenAI, Scale AI, and Ramp.
Corridor, an AI-powered health benefits brokerage targeting small and mid-sized businesses, announced in September 2026 that it has raised a $25 million seed round led by Bain Capital Ventures. BoxGroup also participated, along with executives from OpenAI, Scale AI, and Ramp.
The startup was co-founded by Jackson Wagner, Eric Qian, Nikhil Aggarwal, and Jason Dong. Aggarwal serves as CEO. Wagner and Qian previously worked together at Scale AI, where Wagner was a product lead before departing in July 2022. Aggarwal and Dong were partners at Cold Start, a firm the founders initially approached for funding on an earlier venture.
Corridor’s platform pairs customers with human advisors while AI agents handle administrative work in the background — tasks such as verifying whether a doctor is in-network, scheduling care, and relaying insurance information to providers. “We are every single employee and management’s concierge for all things healthcare,” Aggarwal told TechCrunch.
The company’s focus on small businesses stems from a gap it says traditional brokerages leave unfilled. Small accounts generate lower commissions than larger ones but require a comparable amount of time to service, making them less attractive to conventional brokers. Corridor is betting that AI can make serving those smaller clients economically viable.
Wagner’s path to the company was shaped in part by a running accident that led to prolonged complications and chronic pain, an experience he said highlighted the difficulty individuals face navigating health coverage. “Since health plans are the window through which the vast majority of Americans access health care, it became overwhelmingly clear that one of the highest impact things I could do to improve outcomes for individuals was to create a way for them to access better health plans,” he said.
Corridor is preparing for a busy fourth quarter, with Aggarwal noting that roughly 80% of small businesses select their health plans during that period. Competitors in the space include Ignition Benefits and Nava Benefits.
