Grokipedia Gets New Logo and Homepage Redesign in v0.3 Update
Grokipedia is showing renewed activity after an August Lawfare report said no entry had changed in more than three months. Its v0.3 redesign adds featured and most-read article shelves and reorganizes live edits.
Grokipedia, SpaceXAI’s AI-powered competitor to Wikipedia, received a design overhaul on October 1, 2026, as part of a v0.3 update. The update includes a new logo and refreshes to both its homepage and live edits page. SpaceXAI head of design Benji Taylor described the result as a “newly refreshed Grokipedia.”
The previous homepage featured little more than a logo and a search bar. The updated version adds a list of featured articles, a most-read articles section, and a tracker displaying the latest edits. Featured articles are presented as digital book representations that users can rotate, while the most-read section uses a horizontally scrolling shelf of book spines. The live edits page has also been reorganized to display more recent changes at once.
Article pages received smaller updates as well, including a revised format for fact tables at the top of entries and tighter line spacing. The overall article layout otherwise remains largely unchanged.
Grokipedia first launched in v0.1 in late October 2025 with AI-cloned pages from Wikipedia, followed by a v0.2 update a month later. Earlier in 2026, the site appeared to go dormant. A report published by Lawfare in August noted that “no entry has changed in more than three months.” The v0.3 update and the resumption of edits suggest renewed activity around the project within SpaceXAI, though the company did not respond to a request for comment.
The updates may indicate that SpaceXAI is investing attention in Grokipedia again after a period of inactivity, but the company has not publicly stated its plans for the platform.
