Meta’s Muse App Adds Native iPad Support in Latest Update
Meta’s Muse update adds integrations with Canva, Dropbox, Figma, GitHub and Zoom, plus a business-goal mode for planning marketing, pitches and product pages. Released in October 2026, it brings native iPad support roughly a month after the iPhone launch.
Meta’s Muse AI app now supports the iPad natively, following an update released in October 2026 — roughly a month after the app’s initial launch on iPhone.
The iPad support is mentioned briefly at the bottom of the update’s release notes, alongside a broader set of new features for iPhone users. The iPad version is expected to function similarly to the iPhone app while making better use of the larger screen and iPadOS multitasking capabilities.
Muse is Meta’s agentic AI tool, designed to compete with OpenClaw, ChatGPT’s Dots, and Grok Bot. Since its launch, the app spent several weeks as the top free app in Apple’s App Store. A Mac version followed about a week after the original mobile release, expanding the app’s capabilities to desktop tasks such as organizing files.
The latest update also introduces new software integrations, allowing Muse to connect with tools including Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Zoom, Asana, and Klaviyo, along with new connectors for Granola and Notion. Small business owners are a stated target for the update, with a new option to assign Muse a business goal — enabling the agent to autonomously plan marketing, client pitches, and new product pages.
Beyond the app, Meta has announced a standalone device called the Muse Charm, described as Tamagotchi-like, that will run the AI agent without requiring a smartphone. The company is also working to bring Muse to its smart glasses lineup.
The relatively fast addition of iPad support — compared to Meta’s 15-year delay in releasing a dedicated iPad version of Instagram — may suggest stronger organizational priority around its AI products.
