Zenzap, an AI-powered workplace messaging app, announced in October 2026 that it has raised $44 million in funding, with backing from Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, along with individual investors including Wix President Nir Zohar and former EY GM Yoram Tietz.

The company was founded in 2022 by Guy Weiss alongside co-founders Noam Neumann and Jonatan Bien. Weiss, who previously bootstrapped e-commerce marketing platform StuccoMedia and sold it to Market Group in 2015, said he initially self-funded Zenzap and worked out of Bessemer’s office before being persuaded by Bessemer partner Adam Fisher to pursue venture backing. This is Weiss’s first time raising outside capital as a founder.

Zenzap is designed for businesses in sectors such as hospitality, construction, healthcare, and fast food — industries where staff commonly rely on consumer apps like WhatsApp or iMessage for workplace communication. Weiss argues those tools fall short because they don’t comply with corporate IT and security requirements, while platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams weren’t built for mobile-first, everyday use by frontline workers.

The app offers group chats, direct messages, task management, calendar integration, and AI-powered voice chat and search on its free tier. Paid plans start at $51 per month for up to 20 users and unlock video calls, smart task sorting, and expanded file storage. AI agents for workflow automation and voice note transcription are available through a credit-based pricing system.

Current clients include FedEx, Dollar General, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Casey’s, and Regal. Weiss noted that franchise locations of IHOP and McDonald’s also use the platform to coordinate shifts and supply logistics.

Zenzap currently employs 50 people across offices in the U.S., Tel Aviv, and Europe. The company plans to expand its product and R&D teams in the near term.
